Current business days for TKB are MONDAY through THURSDAY, and half-days on SATURDAY.  Postal Holidays are excluded.

This means we are "off" on Fridays & Sundays. We may be active on the socials or have pre-scheduled content posting, but please allow a full 24 business hours for a response to your email.

WE CANNOT CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN PLACED.

Items priced at retail with shipping paid will ship first, typically same or next business day. This means orders with discounts, free shipping, or other promos may take extra business days, depending on order volume. 

Also please note that once your package is received by the courier, we no longer have any control over where or at what speed it is delivered, nor do we have any further tracking information than what is shown in your tracking email.

Your package will be shipped with the default insurance provided by the courier, if any. 

By shopping with us, you acknowledge that postal delays happen, only default shipping insurance is provided, and that we cannot process refunds due to postal delays.

LARGER ORDERS (5+ items)

- are only insured up to the default (usually $100). If your shipping paid is enough to cover the additional insurance, we do purchase that for you.

- take longer to pull, package, and ship, therefore TAT Is increased

- we encourage splitting up your order If these are concerns for you

MULTIPLE ORDERS:

- items ordered together generally SHIP together, once all items are here/ready/complete.

- if you want items to ship as they are ready, they need to be ordered separately.

- exceptions include free ship/promos/discounts. We reserve the right to combine any orders with discounts or free shipping.

-These WILL NOT SHIP until ALL items in the order have arrived and are all completed


SHIPPING INSURANCE is typically only Included up to $100. 

IF YOUR PACKAGE IS LOST: You will file a claim with the courier and will receive up to the max, if approved by courier.  You can email us for a copy of your shipping label with the information needed to file a claim. 

ALL order concerns and refund/exchange requests MUST be first authorized via email at topknotandthebeard@gmail.com. 

  • We accept LuLaRoe returns on full-priced purchases of mainline items with paid shipping, shipped back to us within 7 days of your receipt of the item, provided they are returned in original new condition, unwashed & unworn, with all tags still attached, and free of scents.

    Capsule, collection, and holiday items, if eligible, must be returned within 3 days.
  • We must be notified by email at topknotandthebeard@gmail.com to initiate a return and we will provide further info regarding shipping. Returns without both email correspondence and tracking information will not be accepted.

  • Returns/exchanges must be shipped with full name & order number inside the package. Without this information, the process will be delayed. 

  • Items purchased with free shipping are exchange only & all shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. The same return policies above apply. Exchanges must be chosen from in-stock inventory within 24 hours of acceptance.
    If an uneven exchange is requested, we will need to process both a new order and a refund.
    Please note, we are not able to hold items awaiting exchange or offer store credit.

  • Customized or modified pieces are made-to-order just for you, and they are final sale per LLR policy.

  • We do not offer returns/exchanges due to print. Any print/placement concerns must be addressed before ordering. We also do not offer returns for duplicate purchases or for postal delays.

  • Discounted items are always final sale. Damages and mis-shipments must be reported within 3 days to be returned.
    - Capsule and collection items such as holiday, elegant, etc. are extremely time-sensitive for us & may only be eligible for return/exchange in the case of wrong shipment or damage.
    - Orders placed with a Promo Code signifying a Free item cannot be returned, as this is considered a discount on the order.
    - Postal delays are not a valid cause for return or exchange.

  • Items ordered through us from other retailers (such as in a mega link or ISO) are acquired and purchased just for you! Therefore returns will only be accepted if incorrect or damaged items arrive. As always, contact us (via email) before returning anything to ensure you are sending to the correct retailer or it may not be accepted.

 

Again, we MUST be notified via email to initiate a return. Please email topknotandthebeard@gmail.com to let us know that you have read and acknowledged our return policy here. 

Returns without notification and tracking will NOT be accepted. They will be donated to our local shelters.

Customizing LLR is a very detailed process & takes exponentially longer than simply shipping basic LLR. TAT (turnaround time) can vary greatly depending on if we have the design on-hand, need to print it, or if it's a pre-order, but please allow 10 business days for your custom piece to be created and shipped, starting once we have the design on-hand. Preorders add 1-3 weeks to this timeframe, as the vendor has eto order, print, and ship them to us first.

Please also keep in mind that we typically have anywhere from 50 to 200 customs in queue that we need to complete, and only one person with the experience to make them for you!  Thank you for your patience and for shopping SMALL! :D 

 

 

For more perspective on customs, think of it as CAKE. 

If you want to bring a cake to Thanksgiving supper, you can either:

-Go to the store and grab a pre-made cake, already packaged up for transit, and take It right on!

-OR, go to the store, buy all the ingredients (designs), bring them home, read the recipe (pressure, temp, time), bake the cake (custom), let it cool (literally), add the icing (fold nicely), package It up, THEN take It to supper!
Phew!   Godspeed to everyone who makes cakes!!!

But wait!
Now, imagine you are making HUNDREDS OF CAKES. ALL DIFFERENT CAKES. And they ALL have completely different ingredients and bake temps and times, and they ALL GO TO DIFFERENT SUPPERS, after you bake, cool, ice, and package them ALL!
You probably also have to buy "ingredients" in bulk, spend lots of time shopping around for them, inventory, space, restocks, etc etc! Double phew! 

This is why I have to make customs in BATCHES, and why TAT is not shorter, but rest assured that we have an insanely high satisfaction rate with our customs and we have been making them for years for many many repeat customers!
